SYNOPSIS
The insurance agent Vincent Baumann, a cold-blooded careerist and minion of a ruthless system, becomes a victim of the very corporations he represents. Degraded to a henchman, he doggedly struggles to get back on the job market and climb the s ocial ladder. In the process, he realises that there are other values besides income and success and decides against his previous ideology and for another human being, for Lisa Sokulowa. Although they do not have a future, the two manage to celebrate a minor triumph against the supremacy of the ruling system.
